The main aim of the classes is to teach Self Defence skills and build the students’ fitness levels up which are necessities in today's society. Students have the option of entering a Belt Grading system which will measure improvement and efficiency to demonstrate techniques, exercises and drills learned in set stages. Belt grading will take place every four to six months, dependant upon the student’s own individual rate of advancement. However, gradings are by no means a necessity as it is understood that not everyone wishes to grade. If you do not wish to grade then rest assured you will still be welcome and get the exact same quality of tuition as all other students.

The classes teach a form of modern martial arts. The main areas taught are: -·

Punching and kicking -Kickboxing/Karate·

Pad work—Kickboxing / Karate / FMA/JKD·

Empty hand self defence - Karate / FMA/JKD· Empty hand vs weapons—Karate /Kickboxing/ FMA/JKD·

Groundwork / Dumog - FMA/JKD, Judo, Submission Grappling·

Q. Do you give FREE taster sessions?

A. NO! We are a realist club. We offer new students their first lesson HALF PRICE.

Q. How much are lessons?

Pay as you go fees are £6:00 per class adults and £5:00 per class for concessions i.e. u16s NUS, NHS, Warrant Card holders, over 60's provided that Valid ID is provided. Paying in advance will save you money. Fees start from £18:00 per month per adult and £15:00 per month per concession.

Q. How much is it to join?

A. FREE! We do not charge a membership fee for any of our classes! Students must however, purchase licence and insurance through our club after 4 weeks maximum. This fee is £25:00 adults and £20 concessions per student per anumfor our modern martial arts curriculum. We will not train anyone without this.

q. Do i need to buy anything before I start?

A. NO!. Any uniform or equipment you need shall be purchased through the club catalogue. Our equipment and uniform are unique to our club and approved by the martial arts governing bodies that we adhere to.
