Are the classes okay for beginner’s or do I need to have done any previous martial arts training?

Yes the classes are ideal for beginners. You do not need any previous training as our chief instructor and assistant instructors will guide and instruct you in everything you will need to know.

Are the classes only for beginners or can advanced practitioners come too?

Advanced practitioners are welcomed into our club too. Every martial arts instructor has their own unique way of teaching and motivating students. There is always something that you can learn or train slightly different thusly adding to your pre-existing font of knowledge.

Do I need to buy any equipment before I start?

No do not purchase any equipment before you start our classes. Anything that you will require for classes shall be purchased through the club catalogue.

What do I wear?

Just wear clothes that are comfortable and sensible to train in. For example tee shirt and jogging bottoms are ideal for starting out. We prefer that you have bare feet when training.

How much are lessons?

Pay as you go fees for classes are as follows;

Adults	£6.00	£6.00
Juniors / Students / NHS / Public Servants**	£5.00	£5.00

** Proof required for discounts on fees for example NUS Card, Uni Card, Warrant Card etc.

You can save money by paying for classes monthly by standing order. You must be a club member to qualify for this. Please ask when at the club.

How do I join the club?

We allow four weeks for you to try the classes and decide whether or not you want to become a member. After this period you MUST purchase Licence and Insurance if you wish to continue training with our club.

How Much does joining cost?

We offer two packages to students:

The basic package is our entry level membership package. It is the most economical membership package we offer, at £25:00. This fee includes;

· 1 year Martial Arts Licence and Insurance fee for Eskrima Style RRP £25:00*must be renewed annually*

Club membership RRP £10:00

This means you are saving £10:00 with our entry level package. Or look at it another way and you are getting FREE club membership.

NOTE: YOU MUST ALSO PURCHASE AN ESKRIMA STICK FROM OUR CLUB ONLY. ESKRIMA STICKS ARE ONLY SOLD TO THOSE THAT HOLD A LICENCE AND INSURANCE. SEE OUR CATALOGUE FOR A FULL RANGE OF ESKRIMA GEAR UNIFORM MUST BE PURCHASED BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR FIRST BELT GRADE.

Our elite club membership fee is our premier membership package. It is priced at just £60:00. This fee includes;

· 1 x Standard Club shirt RRP £12:99

· 1 x Club training trousers RRP £15:00

· Club membership RRP 10:00

· One Arnis/ Eskrima Stick RRP £8:00

1 year Licence and Insurance fee for PKS ESKRIMA only £25:00*must be renewed annually*

Who do I make cheques payable to?

Please make all cheques payable to REBECCA KANE. (When paying via this method goods will be dispatched as soon as possible after the cheque has cleared. We will inform you if items are going to be later.)

Is there any other information I need to know once I have become a club member?

You have to renew your insurance fee every year in January. The current cost is £25:00 per student, per renewal for Eskrima/Arnis.
